本作はカナリヤ諸島のランサローテ島で撮影されており、ティモンファヤ国立公園の驚くべき荒涼とした火山の風景と、アーティスト・セサール・マンリケによる「レトロ・フューチャー」なユートピア建築を融合させている。

Shot on the island of Lanzarote Proposal for an unmade film (set in the future) weaves together the extraordinary, shattered, volcanic landscape of the Timonfaya National Park and the ‘retro-futuristic’ utopian architecture of artist Cesar Manrique.

シェフィールドのサイトでのギャラリー展示のため、エラードとジョンストンが制作した大きなスケール・モデルを元に制作した映画セットを撮影した作品。モホイ＝ナジ・ラースローが1936年のイギリスのSF映画『来たるべき世界』のために制作したが実際使用されなかったシーンを”再想像”する。

Created from a large scale model film set was created built by the artists as a gallery exhibition at Site, Sheffield, UK, the film 're-imagines' Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's film sequence made for, but never used in, the 1936 British science fiction film 'Things to Come’.

Neue Museen

本作は、イタリアの戦後の建築家フランコ・アルビニによるラディカルなモダニズムの展示デザインと、1950年代初期における彼と美術館ディレクターのカテリーナ・マルチェナーロとのコラボレーションについて描いている。 この映画はビアンコ宮殿とロッソ宮殿のギャラリー、ジェノヴァのサンタゴスティーノ美術館で撮影された。

Neue Museen explores the radical, modernist exhibition designs of Italian post-war architect Franco Albini and his collaboration with museum director Caterina Marcenaro in the early 1950s. The film is shot in the galleries of the Palazzo Bianco and Palazzo Rosso, and the Museo di Sant’Agostino, in Genoa.

Everything Made Bronze

固定カメラを使って撮影されたこの映画は、イタリア北部のポッサーニョにあるカノーヴァ美術館のカルロ・スカルパ石膏像ギャラリー内の光の遊戯を捉えている。カノーヴァの石膏像、小型のテラコッタなどの鑑賞のための、絶え間なく流動し、変化する環境が数日間に渡って記録された。

Shot using a static camera, the film follows the play of light in Carlo Scarpa’s plaster-cast gallery in the Museo Canova, in Possagno, Northern Italy, over a number of days as it produces a constantly fluid and changing environment for the appreciation of Canova's plaster-casts and small-scale terracotta maquettes.

グラハム・エラードとスティーブン・ジョンストンは、1993年からコラボレーションを行なっている。映画と建築との並行関係についての大規模なビデオ・インスタレーションと16ミリ作品は、世界各国の美術館やギャラリー（シドニー現代美術館、テート・リバプール、ポンピドゥー・センター、シカゴ建築財団、ロッテルダム国際映画祭など）で展示されており、近年の映画作品はアンソロジー・フィルム・アーカイブス、テート・ブリテン、あいちトリエンナーレ、グッゲンハイム美術館などで上映されている。また、二人の共著「Anthony McCall：Notebooks and Conversations」が、2015年3月にロンドン、ニューヨークのルンド・ハンフリーズとスイスのサンクト・ガレン美術館により出版されている。

Graham Ellard and Stephen Johnstone
As artists Graham Ellard and Stephen Johnstone have collaborated since 1993. Their large-scale video installations and 16mm films, concerned with the parallels between film and architecture have been exhibited internationally in museums and galleries including; MoCA, Sydney; Tate Liverpool; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Chicago Architecture Foundation; Rotterdam International Film Festival. Recently their films have been included in Glass! Love! Perpetual Motion! Anthology Film Archives, New York; Assembly: A survey of recent artists’ film and video in Britain 2008-2013, Tate Britain; as a parallel exhibition to the Aichi Triennale, Nagoya; the Setouchi Triennale, Japan; The Laszlo Moholy Nagy Retrospective, The Guggenheim Museum, New York. They also write together and their book 'Anthony McCall: Notebooks and Conversations' was published in March 2015 by Lund Humphries, London and New York/Kunstmuseum St Gallen, Switzerland.
